Galvanized steel is cold rolled steel, zinc-coated by passing through a molten bath of zinc.
Zinc constitutes a coating layer that protects the steel from corrosion. All the other properties of the plate do not change. The plate surface is excellent for every processing by tension, bending, compression or cold pressing.
The use of galvanized plates is mainly in places that require high processing capacities of the material and good resistance to corrosion.

ELECTROGALVANIZED STEEL
 
Electrogalvanized steel is steel plate that is zinc-coated in an electroplating process, where the ionized zinc with cathodic electricity potential moves to the anode which is the coated plate and is bonded there to a coating layer. The advantages of this coating method lie in a uniform and relatively thin layer before painting. Therefore its main application is in domestic appliances.

ALUZINC STEEL
 
Aluzinc steel is a steel sheet coated with aluminum, zinc and silicone, as an alloy constituting a protective coating against particularly harsh corrosion conditions. It is suited for uses in a maritime environment, or an industrial environment with particularly corrosive gases. In addition the sheet is resistant at particularly high environmental temperatures, about 315°C. Its disadvantage is for resistance welding because of the aluminum in the coating.

Aluminized steel is cold rolled steel sheet coated with an aluminum and silicone alloy. This coating gives the sheet an attractive surface, particularly resistant to corrosion, especially in very high heat conditions. Therefore the main uses of these sheets are in parts that must withstand a particularly hot environment such as exhaust pipes etc.
